best place to get mats

Featured Replies

Looking to find some good well priced tailored mats for the vrs. Anybody recomend me anywhere

Originals are only about £60 a set IIRC. Although I would go cheaper on eBay there are some, they tend to get ruined pretty quickly anyway.

Got mine from skoda last December, can't remember how much, but I'm sure it was under £50. You sure they haven't quoted you for the one piece carpet that fits throughout the floor pan?

Actually, just asked the Mrs and I think it was £25/30 each, but i only wanted the front two

I do really like the vrs matts but let's face it it impossible to keep the grey on the seats clean let alone on the floor

try skodaparts.com about £16 plus vat  or phone 01142701111, bickerton skoda. i order a couple of items cost me £6 odd carriage. worth a try.

Just checked their website. Front VRS mats £38 each. :(

Thats about the price

The quality is good though

Copies from ebay are usually horrible carpet material that gets bits of rubbish stuck in them that are impossible to remove

Picked up a set of mats from my local dealers on Saturday morning. Set me back £112 :o Got home and went to fit them and three were the same colour (black) and one was different (grey same as my old ones). They must have updated them and have a mixture of old and new ones. Worst thing is I can't even take them back till Friday to see what they say. :@

The orginals are a dark grey colour (not black)

I got  aset for my occy from the stealers and they were £22 for Audi A3 from the stealers £17, just go to the stealers!!!

I know the originals are dark grey that's why I said they must have changed them. I'm sure I read on here somewhere that someone had the same problem and got two different coloured mats when ordering them or was selling two mats that were different colours.

I got mine from ambassador car mats, the fit is ok, not perfect around the locating lugs though. I've had them well over a year now and they are still ok, just showing a few heel prints on the drivers side

i must have had a bargain then, i bought 3 mats from them last december, 2 x £15.19 and 1 x £16.15 and i won the drivers on e-bay £20.

these are the product codes 6y0864451c74c, 6y0864452c74c and 6y2864435c74c. finish the interior off fair play.

amazon sell several sets of mats black with different colour piping finishes for £30.
