I had a Fabia VRS and was on here a while ago due to it. Great car and great place here, looks like its got even bigger and better!

 

I have had a few Passats and a Lexus inbetween. All ok (Lexus wasnt a great diesel) just came back as I think I got a good deal on an eBay gamble. 05 Elegance with all the toys and DSG for 2.5k (135kmiles) 

 

It seems ok apart from im not keen on the colour! It does have a 1500rpm stutter when cold. It seems there isnt really a fix for that?! Hoping a full service Ill do soon might help a bit. Oh its got the aircon fail and rear washer that needs reconnecting too!

Yes and the colour is nice. I see front sensors too which is rare on these.

Thanks guys! I will try and get into the colour, just a bit classic for me. Yeah front sensors, quite handy as Im used to them from my old Passat

Is it a leather interior? Looks like it and also is that built in sat nav? Looks very well specced if so.

Yeah heated leather with memory and factory Nav. The nav is starting to show it's age a little now though.

Stutter at 1500 rpm sounds like a gummed EGR, they all seem to do that when the miles push up.

The air con could be the expensive one as the compressor tends to go, which I believe ain't cheap.

Hopefully your rear washer pipe will have parted company in an easy to reach place, not behind the dash like mine.

Looks a good buy for the price.

Those wheels look a bargain, lots of weights could just mean really cheap and nasty boots making balancing a pain.

Thanks Andenton. I hoped it was egr bur I have cleaned it out. Unfortunately although it was really bunged up it's not fixed stutter. I think you are right about air con and hope you're right about the tyres... they definitely look cheap!

Sounds like original owner specced options to an L and K level. Bonus if is.

One common place for rear washer to go is behind the trim on left side of boot. If so, just hope there has been no damage to the electrics there.
