Anyone found a cure to this?

Featured Replies

Right been getting angrier and angrier over this issue does anyone else hate after it rains and you open the boot and water just ****es in? Has anyone found a way to stop or reduce this happening?

run a thin line of black silicone sealent along the bottom of the screen to fill the little channel and voila all sorted.

Will give this a go

If you open it part way and give it a few up/down 'shakes', you won't get more than the odd drip in the boot.

Takes 1 second out your life, so I've never found it a real problem.

+1 on the part opening technique.

Havnt gotten as far as siliconing out the gap on mine yet...

everytime i think of doing it i realise ive the works van parked outside... :notme:

The MK2 does the same. Someone on there has fitted clear door edge protectors down either side of the tailgate glass and has cured this problem.
