rear axle bushes and bumpstops

Featured Replies

hi guys anyone no if there is an upgraded rear axle bush that is oem as dont really want to polybush the back axle also where is the best place to get rear bumpstops as i couldnt seem to find any at euro car parts have found some on ebay but am unsure if they are the best option or if u guys are running anything different from oem all help is much appreciated

My bump stops are from eBay, have been fine. If you want longevity you can get poly bump stops.

I'm sure people have used mk1 fabia vrs rear axle bushes as a upgrade as there solid a not voided like the octy ones are, hopefully someone could confirm this? :)

I don't understand why you wouldn't want to polybush. The rear axle polybushes being two piece are so much easier to fit than OEM press types, and they're not really noticably stiffer (not on the rear axle anyhow), simply a lot more likely to last.

Polyurethane bump stops may bit a bit harsher though.

as i meant exactly what i put but some of us are in a rush and could not give a f... for grammar or punctuation or did not ask for your opinion on either spelling or punctuation

Keep it civil please.

Personally I'm never in too much of a rush to use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Anyway back on topic. I'm running Superpro rear beam bushes and they're not harsh at all, and really easy to install.

I wish you good luck on your quest for help.  However in the future asking valid questions might be helpful.

I used the fabia vrs ones on the back of mine. They are still voided, so not to harsh, but they're stiffer than the standard ones.

Yep I have these, same as Seat LCR but cheaper

And here is the DIY guide I did from the Octavia techi section  if you want to have a go yourself..
