After much shopping around and comparing prices I have had Hankook 195/55R15 (85H) K425 KINERGY tyres fitted on my Fabia replacing the original Continentals.

 

The original tyres were rotated at 20000 miles when the car was serviced and all 4 tyres lasted until 33600 miles.

 

The Hankooks were fitted by a local independant garage via tescotyres/blackcircles, and I have to say that I am very pleased with the tyres and the service I recieved at the garage. The new tyres provided an excellent ride and are quieter than the originals. They provided good grip during the recent heavy rain.

 

They are "C" rated in fuel economy and wet grip with 69DB noise suppression. Overall very pleased and highly recommended.

Threadbear, very good info. Thanks. I'm soon going to be changing my tyres mostly due to excessive noise and some premature cracking of the covering. I may well give the Hankooks a try.

I always found my Continentals quite quiet especially at speed but I feel the Hankooks are better. Makes a refined car even better.
