Nexus 4 Screen protector/cover.

Featured Replies

Ordered a bumper/protector to protect it's backside. Also ordered a screen protector... Though with a reservation or two.

It seems to have one already installed. There's definitely "something" there. On top of the glass.

Personally I prefer the booklet style cases to protect my phones.  It's all too easy to damage them.

Yeah, looked at those, also consider rubber/gel types. ATEOD phones may be "slim" but with bigger screens they're getting to be a ballache putting in a pocket anyway. The less bulk the better. Unless I can find a "manly" bag or carrier of some description. Batman style utility belt? Though maybe in black or tan rather than bright yellow!?!?

Also was informed last night, prices slashed on Nexus 4, as Nexus 5 launch due. Now £159 and £199 down from £239 and £279. A bit of a bummer for me but probably a bit of a bargain for others...!

A brand fire new Nexus 4 does come with a layer on the screen, just as it does on the back. I left it on for a bit, before deciding that I was being a pansy.

I have a Curve style case on it, which protrudes slightly from the top edge giving a little bit of protection. As for the screen, its running bare, since the screen protector and the case didn't agree. The screen is made of gorilla glass anyway.

As long as you dont put it in your pocket with coins or keys then it's fine. I've had mine since january and the screen is still perfect. Apart from the greasy finger marks that come right off with a microfibre.
