Are there anymore VIP's out there

Featured Replies

My local dealer has just sent me a VIP invitation to visit their showroom in Sept where I will be able to buy a new Octy 3 at an unbelievable price. Could this be the same dealer who made me an insulting offer in June to p/ex my Octy 2 against an Octy 3 & when I told him what others had offered told me to take that deal because he couldn't believe I could get such a deal. If I take delivery before their open day might have a drive in & show them my new Octy!!!!!!

Why bother?

Why bother?

Just for the satisfaction of letting them know they didn't screw me.

I'm sure they'll be really interested

Don't see what the problem is. You get a good deal from one dealer and the other isn't prepared to match it. Just go with the best deal. What's the issue?

Doesn't sound like the dealer was being unreasonable.

I had a similar issue, could not get a good deal in Sheff so travelled to Lincoln for double the discount! Also just had a VIP invite from my supplying dealer, I think they must be hoping SWMBO is getting ready for a change but they'll be out of luck for a few years yet!

These VIP things are sent out to everyone they ever talked to by the looks of it.

I got one from Allams, it arrived the day after the event! :D

It's just a mass marketing campaign to get bodies into the showroom.

I also got one from Allams I replied but never got a confirmation so didn't go.

And they wonder why I don't use them anymore?
