How about Flashing???

Featured Replies

Just an idea , but how about all us OctaviaII drivers flashing headlights other when we spot another Octy II .Similar to what Beetles do or Bikers .

Is that a crazt Idea or what, because if one flashes back you know he is probably a member of this wonderful forum .....creep, creep :thumbup: or :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn: :thumbdwn:

Or, as an alternative, bob over to the Vinyl Store and get yourself some Briskoda stickers - if everyone did this then you'll know for sure that someone is on here before you flash and start bemusing innocents... :)

we have a similar idea on the puma owners site.... thing is, you very seldom see someone else who knows WHY you are flashing or waving at em ;) but it's good fun when you get a flash or wave in return!

come on lets start a craze . Before we know it everyone will be at it.

I upset A MR2 today in Salisbury , he was there toodling along and I whipped past him .........didn't like it , within seconds he was up my ****.......till I put my foot down again, only caught me up cos of traffic.

Just a thought do All Octy drivers drive with an inane grin on their faces because I have had one on my face since I've had the car and it's showing no signs of going. :smrbow:

I do that with other Superbs, but I guess there a lot fewer of us around.

Although it possibly confuses other motorists initially, they probably see the other Skoda (with envy in their eyes!).

For some of us, the Briskoda sunstrip is not an option, so spotting other Briskodians would not be that easy.

Looks like I'll have to watch out for Davem flying through Bridgwater then!

Langport? Zoyland? Bl00dy yokels! :haha:

Oh and if you see a rather shabby looking Silver Octy SDI with a personal plate, gimme a wave as I'm round that area too :D

I've got briskoda sticker in the back window and I would wave at any OCT2 owner who waved. However, please don't encourage headlight flashing. There's enough misuse of signals on our roads without starting more.

Si

The one benefit there is - at least they will know where the indicator stalk is

Agree with what you're saying, mind ;)
