Hi,

 

As a sort of an anniversary event - a year since a number of us met in the Elan Valley, why not organise another.

 

Providing there is the interest, we could meet in the Elan Valley visitor centre and have some lunch.

Thanks Norman. Unless we get the numbers up a bit we might have to consider cancelling. Its a shame as there was a lot of interest and attendance last year.

Will be up for this again Richard as long as there is more interest, haven't been to Devils Bridge for years - nice place - went camping there years ago.

Did try to drum up a bit of interest at Castle Combe but unfortunately most people seemed to have other commitments.

[Off topic] Tonight's Countryfile has a (probably small) segment on the Elan Valley and the part played by the reservoirs in the Dambusters raid. [/Off topic]

 

Just wish it was closer - I loved driving around there last October.

 

I hope you get enough interest to make it worthwhile.

I may well have to pull out of this to be honest, it's a date thing. I am free the weekend after.
