Hi, just got my VAG-COM and this has come up, not quite sure what it means or if its anything to worry about?

Hmm strange, its only a torch key, and that seems to work ok.

Its not to do with the remote which is operated by the battery (or the torch).

Its to do with the signal strength between the key and the coil reader in the ignition barrell.

You dont say what car it is but early Octavias suffered with it alot and there is a modified loom tha goes between the reader and the dash insert.
