Video in motion

Featured Replies

I've recently fitted a Columbus RNS510. Does anyone know how I can get it to play DVD's while driving. Believe it or not its so my 3 year old can watch Peppa Pig. Anything for a quiet life!!

Mine was coded to do it before I got it.

There are videos on YouTube of people pressing certain buttons to make it work temporarily.

Might be better to buy a cheap portable DVD player or tablet.

Much better option

Where is the 3 year old sat? Hopefully in the back, in which case they'd have to be sat in a car seat on the middle seat, and still wouldn't see much on the screen

If you really want to risk breaking the law whilst driving, then you can activate VIM by upgrading firmware to 38xx or 40xx.

Both available from 'My GTi' website.

Just check with version of Columbus you have so you get the right firmware. There are pleanty of threads on here about upgrading firmware.
