A few things from the weekend

Featured Replies

So over the weekend I went to Edition 38 (saw a few mk1 vRS's there) but the main thing I saw was the 1.8t engine, in all it various forms in all sorts of vehicles. Now I know what people are going to say is that all these cars are trailer queens but whether it be a minute or a mile, all these cars drove in to the show.

How are they making the engines so clean? There's no extra pipe work or anything like that, just really clean and tidy! This isn't the best example because its really extreme, but this was the one I snapped. How much of the pipe work can you really empty out? I have done all the deletes so far, but what else can you do? I also notice that a lot, like this one, vented straight to atmostpehere from the crank case or catch can. I thought it need to recycle?

Also (last thing) where is a better place to connect a boost gauge line? Because attached to the FPR isn't giving me the best readings.
