EGR Valve

Featured Replies

My EGR valve is leaking Oil and spraying around the surrounding area, and also from the other posts i've read, seems to be sticking (setting off when cold, little throttle response then the engine suddenly revs right up). My query is, will simply performing the EGR delete be sufficient to stop the oil leak and sticking issues, or do I need to replace the EGR valve, then look into the delete afterwards?

I would strongly recommend replacing the EGR valve and not deleting it. Amongst other problems, cold weather warm up will be compromised with a bad effect on fuel consumption. Avoid Chinese replacements - lots around.
