obd2 bluetooth accuracy

Featured Replies

just bought one of these and paired it with galaxy s3 using the torque pro app. wanted to check on my boost and bhp. im running stage 2 hybrid pd150 and the reading came out at 22psi dropping to 20psi and 160-65bhp at the wheels. it was showing the intake temps to be 37 degrees. does this sound about right?

ive got a dyno printout from the previous owner when he had the map done and it reads 208bhp 317ft/lbs. no mention of any boost figures.

You will not get accurate BHP with Torque. I have 242-245bhp, and maximum Torque app. has ever stated is 180-190. Thats is one parameter I don't rely on Torque, others seem to be spot no for me i.e boost, torque, temperatures etc.

And no one would know what your map develops and what boost, all maps are custom, and all results very from many factors, outside temp, humidity, air density, fuel quality etc.

I got Torque more of a gadget and fun info display, then 100% real accuracy, thought people swear by it, and has found accurately a few ECU errors I've had.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah I figured it was reading the bhp low as I went out in my brothers vrs which has a generic remap 165-170bhp and it was giving 114bhp at the wheels. But I'm facing another problem as far as getting any measurements due to my remap being on a piggyback ecu (dastek unichip) so I'm getting readings from the original ecu before the dastek unit adjusts the parameters of the map so this is pointless for me really :-(

Hi,

I have one of those OBD-II interfaces and with Torque lite I couldn't see fuel level, can you see that ?
