Hey first post turbo went on the octavia today , she's 1.9tdi engine code agr ,  Was just wondering instead of replacing it with a standard turbo i'd use this as a chance to fit a more powerful turbo . I know its not a cheap job but I would be trying to get good bang for bucks . Any suggestions?

Diesels are fuel limited, not turbo-limitted in the normal case. That's why TDs usually give 20 to 50 BHP extra from a custom remap with the standard model turbo.

So i'd be better off just replacing it with a standard turbo so ?

There's no point buying a big-@$$ turbo unless you're planning major tuning, like uprated injectors, new cam, and a custom map to suit that lot, no.
