My first long-ish journey with the Rapid

i have the Rapid for about 2,5 months and i use it for a short trip 200 km (about 135 miles) -back and forth- every weekend.

the first time i loved it was when i added black vinyl details (side stripes, roof, side mirror covers, headlights, grille, rear spoiler).

the second time i loved it is when we took our newborn baby girl to go to our country house (the trip i do every weekend) for 1 month.

2 adults luggage+some things i had to carry for my folks+baby's stuff. this was a serious moving that made me think that all these wouldn't fit in the trunk ! And yet, everything fitted in this huge trunk !!! happy...

yesterday we did our first trip to visit my parents in law (200 miles long), including highway, country road and only a couple of miles town road.

mind you, Greece has some serious altitude differences and curvy roads (even highway). Also A/C was on all the time.

given the above, according to the trip computer:

avg speed 95km/h

avg trip consumption 6.4 l / 100 km (including three 5 minutes stops with engine at idle)

it felt good that this 1.2 liter 4-banger performed really well during overtakes (although i would appreciate a little more torque)

comfort was good (OK, i know i wasn;t driving a Merc CLA). actually it was that good that the baby slept through all the 3 hour trip.

for the just 14,5K euro i paid for the car, i believe that it is the best bang for my euro
