Octavia vrs 17s or 18s standard?

Featured Replies

Which come as standard on a vrs? Some adverts say 17 inch wheels others say 18 inch?

Mine are on 18s but this is the FL model......I have heard that some other models have the 17s.....im sure other on here will certainly confirm....

On early mk2 vrs,s 18s were an option

I think that 18's were an option on vrs's until the facelift came out because meta55b's octy vrs is a pre fl but has the CR engine in it so it was one of the very last pre fl's made.

I have 18's on my 57 plate vrs..

I do believe that these came ' free ' also with the jumbo box and rear electric windows as these were previously extras that you had to pay extra

for ???

Cheers for that. Does it make much difference on ride quality? Plus what's a jumbo box?

In theory yes, I find the ride on the 18s good. I've got some 17" Zeniths for winter wheels, but not used them yet.

The jumbo box is the storage compartment under the center arm rest, its got a vent from the A/C system in it.

Now thats what that lever is for inside the box....... :wall:

I have the jumbo box and rear electric windows but on 17's. :(

In about April 2007 Skoda did an offer on the VRS where you got 18" alloys, dual zone climate and rear ew for free (that's when I bought mine). I think ever since then pretty much every vrs came with 18" even though it was maybe never 'standard'.

Cars after than time without those options would stand out.

I've replaced my 18s with 17s and I reckon the ride is slightly softer and better for it.

Put 18s on mine as it came with 17s,ride quality has suffered a little but 18s look far better:)
