I need some advice please, as I want to try out the anti hijack function to try to stop the wife being terrified by nutters like the one on the M25 bridge on Friday trying to get into the car.

 

I think I have found the correct procedure via a search of this thread to enable it, but my question is, if I don't like it, can I dis-able it reasonably easily?. If this is so, could I have a link to the dis-able procedure please?.

Its just the reverse of enabling it - just untick the boxes.

sorry question was a bit dumb, but haven't had VCDS long and still feeling my way in. Is auto unlock procedure basically the same?.

What car do you have?

53 plate mk1 Octavia VRS hatch.

It should be a case of either ticking/unticking boxes or choosing options from a drop down list.

 

Do an auto scan first this will save the original state of things.  When I got my cable the first thing I did was autlock and anti hijack.  There's loads of information on here about doing various things and Ross Tech are very good at providing support.
