Wireless Networking - how cool is that!!

Featured Replies

Just had my new laptop delivered this morning. Resisted the urge to switch it on all day until I got back from the pub about half an hour ago.

Switched on and the inbuilt wireless 54g network started and logged me straight onto Superteds network (He lives across the road but he's still down the pub :D )

This means that I could return my new wireless router to the shop and high jack Superted's connection, just have to hope he doesn't encrypt it :P

Thanks mate - Have a beer on me.

Bugger!!

He's cut me off.

Wireless networks are fab,I'm just getting used to being able to get on the net without going to my main PC - it's great.

Came back in and saw that the LED lights were going ballistic on my router, now we can't have you having too much fun Stu! Not botered really, anytime, and if your broadband crashes at some stage just log on. Oh and i will be setting some time aside shortly to encrypt.

Be interesting to see if you pick mine up if I ever get round to setting it up today.
