Evening all. Just a couple quick questions I've got a 2001 octy estate 1.8 20vt 4x4.

Are the head lights all crap lol. What's the best bulbs to go for or can you upgrade the whole units???

How do you get the top of the arm rest so I can retrim it??

And can you get black leather door cards.

Cheers for any help.

headlights are crap basicly, go for oem xenons or depo ones and faf about with them, the arm rest is easy to retrim, just a few plastic lugs pop it open from the front to the back, door cards i aint to sure about but i think you can get all black ones but only from a black leather interior from a L&K edition

Not sure I'm to keen on that amount of graft lol. Ill try some better bulbs see where that gets me.

Edited the previous post, sorry i'am getting confused lol, yours is fine, i thought yours was a glx, getting mixed up from an other thread, yeah they'll fit

Actually, I totally disagree with all headlights are crap. I recently smashed my front end up and have brand new genuine Hella's fitted and I haven't even bothered to refit my old uprated bulbs as yet, they're working that well.

For what it's worth, replacement Hella's can be had for under £90 each as a complete unit with adjusting motors, bulbs and all. I know this because I bought two just before I smashed up my front end and now have two brand new headlights sat in the garage with nothing to fit them to. :giggle:

I keep meaning to list them on the parts for sale section, but I keep forgetting...

Also, Depo ones are crap in comparison, and not such a nice fit either.

Thanks for the replays mine just seem a little dull that's all. I do have a very light laminex tiny on them like. So that won't help lol ill try some bulbs first I think.

Philips X-treme power were a massive upgrade even on my crappy old lights.
