A squeak has developed every time I press my accelerator pedal.... Any ideas?

I get the odd squeak from mine, but very intermittent, tends to happen when I lift off quickly.

I wonder if it needs some WD40 on it or something..... 

 

I think its out of its warrant period now.

Your car is an 11 plate, surely still in warranty?
