Well my mfd2 I now in fitted and working in my 07 vrs tdi.

my findings are, satnav works with maxidot which is a bonus! So it guides me when radio or cd screen is on.

the standard aux in the jumbo works!!! Its not amazing but its workable.

the satnav works just fine with the gps stuck to the dash rail under hazard switch.

I have a slight buzzing when cds are playing which I believe to be an earthing problem but have read its simply a pin swap to cure it.

now you need to upgrade the climate panel to a VW version
