Springs and RARB fitting

Featured Replies

Hello

Any recommendations on where to go to get Eibach's and a RARB fitted around Manchester?

My local Skoda dealer is coming in at £20 less than AwesomeGTI but which would do a better job? Would I be better going to the dealer in terms of warranty also?

Thank you

Rob

Hi

Regarding warranty I would ask the dealer and if they say it won't affect the warranty have them put it in writing on your file for any future issues.

The guys in the workshop at Skoda should be good with the suspension but how many RARB would they realistically be doing compared to AwesomeGTI?

If warranty is an issue I would go with Skoda but if not I would go with the specialists. ..after I had got them to price match. Will they really lose your business for £20 knowing that you have the option to go elsewhere?

I would expect most competent garages can do the springs, go with whoever offers a decent price.

On the RARB, I understand the thinking in going to a garage that does them more regularly, but IIRC Sharkrider got his mates at the local tyre garage to fit his?

Bob, on the difference between Awesome GTI and Skoda, double check as to whether Skoda are doing a full four wheel laser alignment as part of the fitting, I would hope so, but it's worth checking as I'm 99% sure Awesome quote this within the fitting as standard.  Check with both.

lol... yeah my local tyre place.... I technical degree isnt really ness for a RARB.. :P
