coil reader

Featured Replies

Having read all the posts on Immobiliser Issues, so had the cluster repaired then the wire replaced and finally the reader coil replaced after waiting a month left the car with Skoda and fetched it back today all good.

But the coil reader needed a new wire terminal not been fitted but still drove.

When I got home started to put trim back around steering wheel needed to start the car to move the wheel started it without waiting for the lights to go out and now Immobiliser light back on and not starting and also wire just pulls out of reader coil because new connector not fitted.

Does any know if the wire coming out would cause this or is more money down the drain.

Would it need reprograming.

Hope somebody might be able to help.
