Colors.....again!

Featured Replies

Well, 5-6 weeks ago I planned on ordering a Platin Grey O3. When I got to the dealer, I was one week to late to get it in that color. So I decided to get the new Metal grey. Today I got a message from the dealer that Metal grey is discontinued so far. It might get available from February. So everybody who ordered Metal Grey, will have to pick a new color!!

Why is that? What is the problem in keeping the colors? I doubt that there is problems with the quality on the paint. But I have to admit that this is a little frustrating.

WHAT? I spoke to my dealer Saturday, he checked and said Metal Grey IS in production (thats current ordered color on my car, since it was ordered in plat./steel grey and didn't make the week 36 cut).

I guess I should call him up and make it Race blue ...

I live In Norway. Don't know if it is different In other contries. My dealer got this message saturday.

*Bump*

You were right! Production week 47 at the earliest for Metal Grey.

I was considering Making it Race Blue first time I spoke to my dealer and we found out I might have to change the color! Only reason I didn't was its so common on this forum! (and I went with GREY?!?! hummm ... no comments please, I feel silly enough on my own ... )

Minoris Alloys (for those with only 16" ...) have a small issue as well btw.

Steel grey was the same as Platin grey - code 2G2G. My dealer order form showed Steel Grey & the factory progress form showed Platin grey. Maybe Metal grey is a different colour available in Norway.

Your car looks great In Platin Grey!!!

I think that mine does, too!

Apologies, not least as I didn't choose the colour, it was the only unallocated 4x4 2.0 estate in the UK!
