Hi all,got a strange fault that I hope one of you can shed some light on.when its damp or cold I get the low coolant warning bongs and red light on the dash and coolant is just below max,when I turn the car off then start it again its gone,any ideas anyone,cheers michael

I had a similar fault a while back it turned out to be the level sensor in the expansion tank.

how did you fix it?change the tank or just the sensor and how hard was it to do?

Try scraping the prongs on the inside with a screw driver, I had a similar problem and worked a treat for me

cheers,I will give that a go when a get a chance

I think the sensor just pushes in to the bottle , mine was done at dealer.
