Right what dude, read it or not..Skoda distributors here said to me that i can pass 30 km more from that what the computer is saying.

Why would the computer NOT consider the entire tank?!?

What a rather silly question :giggle:

On second thought they are probably just emphasising how inaccurate the trip computer is?!

Yes it does include the 5 litre reserve.  In all my 3 Skodas, as the computer counts down the miles left in the tank it will usually be  showing  60-70miles (ie around 100km)  to go when the low fuel light comes on.

It is generally pessimistic and you will still have fuel when the count reaches zero but how much?  I don't know - I hate driving with the low fuel light on and have never gone below 10miles-to-go  on the computer display before I chicken out and fill the tank but never got more than 53 litres in a nominally 55 litre tank.

NO NEED TO SHOUT!

When it reads 0 miles range you normally have 25 miles or so depending on driving style.

I've always preferred to fill up as soon as the light comes on, I don't see the value in risking it
