electric seat not working but says no fault

Featured Replies

Hi, I own a skoda oct 2l tdi lauren&clement, 59 plate.

Problem is the drivers electric seat has suddenly stopped working altogether.

Been to local garage who tested it on computer but its coming up with no fault.

Anyone else has this problem. New box for underneath is going to be at least £250, which is a lot of money if thats the fault.

Did you manage to fix the issue?

I am just having the same issue with mine.

Might be wrong, but I thought not all diagnostic machines were as good as the one's you get at a dealer, so some won't show everything. They are available outside the network, just not everyone has them as some buy generic diagnostic to cover a wide range of cars, therefore not specific.

If I'm right, it might just be you need to take it elsewhere for a scan.
