Fabia roof bars installing for first time

Featured Replies

Well i have one problem, I am about to install Thule roof bars for my Fabia, and i am not sure about one thing. When i try to remove caps from roof trim, i managed to broke side pins on two of these caps. These pins are  on the side of these caps and they slide along the trim. This happens when i try to bring them back on the car. These aren't vital for caps to hold down but what technique do i have to apply to install them properlly.

The best way I found was to lift up the entire black roof trim carefully from either the back or the front and remove or re-install the covers from behind. It all just pops back into place without any dramas.

I was thinking about it today too, and i just don't see the way to put these ones back without damage. Maybe tu pull trim a little bit up and try it then.

VR6 thanks for advice, that is smart thing to do.

When you catch some time can you make some pics of these trims when they are removed, just want to see how are they fixed to do body.
