How I added Aux-in on my Octavia Symphony HU

Just thought I would post to let you all know how I added an Aux-in to the standard Symphony HU as fitted to my 2001 Octavia Estate.

Basically, after lots of searching I bought a Soundlinx MOD01AUX interface and the SKO02AUX wiring harness. This fits between the HU and the standard CD changer.

They don't seem to carry stock, and it took a few weeks to come, but at

Is the switch and LEDS remote to the main MOD01AUX unit?

for the harness what goes where? look son the pic that there is an earth cable - why's that necessary adn where did you attach it?

Hi All, I know this is a topic that seems to have been covered a million times but my vRS has become a problem child. It was losing a small amount of coolant and I would get the odd whisp of steam from the back, I diagnosed a leaking EGR Cooler (confirmed with off car pressure test) and a small water pump leak. I replaced both and thought my work here was done. However it now seems to have made losses worse, this time from the reservoir, so yesterday I did a 90 min motorway drive and by the t

Airbag error, what can reset it?

During my hardwire dash cam install, I removed the trim which holds the passenger airbag switch and unplugged it. Now (unsurprisingly) I have an airbag error on the dash. I’ve cycled the ignition a few times in hopes that would reset it, I also tried enabling and disabling the airbag with the key, still no joy. Is this something I can reset at home? I’m hoping something like ODBeleven free plan can do it, but it’s difficult finding out what the free plan can actually do.
