Hi guys ive ordered my new door and would like some tips and advice or easiest way to remove window And motor from old one to put in new on please guys

You will nees to wind it down slightly so you can loosen the 2 clamps that hold window. Only loosen tho not totally undo. Think its a 10mm nut but dont hold me to that.

Then there are 4 large torx screws holding the reg in there cant say size but they are big ones.

Again only need slackening off and the reg wil slide and twist out.

Personally id gut your door on the car then remove door and fit new one and put everything back in while on the car.

When removing door lock be carefull not the bugger the spline heads on them. Thay need the right bit and might be seized.

If I have time ill try givve better description later or someone else might have pics for you.

Its pritty simple.

Removing door card is simple too. Few small hex screws round edges and 2 large x head screws under the grab handle then lift it off after unplugging connectors.

Have fun. Easy when doing it. Pita describing it all tho

Thank you i got a decent mechanical mind but just wondering if there was a certain way to get window out as dont want to pop it or break the clips

Once the clamps are loosend pull window up and tilt front down and it pops out due to curviture of it.

No clips to brake and glass is pritty strong too.

as billy says, except there are 2 10mm bolts holding the window in place, lower the window in place (DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR FIRST) as you need the electrics to see the 2 nuts. Undo them. Once done, think there are 5 hex bolts, undo those too. then take out regulator and mech.

 

Then remove window scraper rubber (inner one) not the outer rubber one.

Then the glass can come out (up) at an angle easily.

Also (as a fail safe), once you have lowered the window a bit, some gaffer tape stuck over the top of the door and onto either side of the glass will stop it going anywhere till you are ready for it to move.

 

Do your best not to bend the inner and outer windows rubbers as you will never get them straight again afterwards.
