As title nearly 5000 miles in since mid June and have totally fallen on love with thee car now. Just does everything I want and was a little nervous I would lose the fun factor of the fabia vrs. Went on a road trip over weekend and 300 odd miles round trip it's averaged 51 mpg, with some brisk motoring. Truly am going to be stumped when it comes to change in a couple of years.

I;ve gotta say they are fab cars. Had mine the same time as yours and love it..... It drives how i want it to drive.....

Has to be said theres not alot not to like about the Octy vRS. I actually think the CR diesel really suits it too, fast enough but frugal, just how a vRS ought to be I think. I like mine considerably more than the Fabia vRS TSi estate that it replaced.

I took the option of having a petrol vRS FL estate.....I mean the thing flies but also drives sensibly. It replaced the vec C i had for years....there is just no comparision....not even an ounce....

Like the OP I had a run out last weekend to the Welsh coast and back. I got 54 mpg from mine, thats 10 more than SWMBO gets from her 1.9pd Seat. The dealer said I'd not want another skoda once I had the vRS. he wasn't wrong....apart from another that is....
