2004 Octavia VRS - Black Magic & Loads of great mods

Here I have for sale my 2004 1U Skoda Octavia VRS, I’ve owned the car for 2 and a half years and it has been a fantastic car to live with and a pleasure to own. In that time it has been serviced every 6-8 thousand miles with VAG Spec Fully synth oil and has always had OEM Genuine parts used. The car stands now at 103k miles and has just had 2 brand new Continental Sport Contact 2 tyres. The car has MOT until May 2014 and Tax until the end October 2013. The car will come with two keys and has full service history at a mixture of Skoda and Independants.

The car is not perfect unfortunately and does have the parking dents reflected in the age of the car, but the car is always detailed/polished and waxed and thanks to this the majority of the paintwork and body looks great. One underneath the passenger side wing mirror and a couple of door dints.

In my ownership the car has had all the serious service items changed for either uprated or OEM items. The cambelt and water pump were replaced at 78000 miles. And at 95k the clutch and flywheel were replaced with an OEM G60 single mass flywheel and Competition Clutches custom clutch built to match the flywheel. The clutch is rated to take much more torque than standard so is ready for Stage 2 mapping. All it needs is a large Turbo Intake Pipe and the big bore downpipe. I have the downpipe with a decat pipe but not fitted.

The full modifications list is as follows:

Motech Performance X Map (Stage 1) Around 220bhp.

Carbonio Cold Air Induction System.

THS Front Mount Intercooler.

4 Bar FPR.

Forge 007P Recirc valve.

Magnex Catback exhaust.

Neuspeed 25mm Front ARB.

Neuspeed 28mm Rear ARB.

G60 Single mass flywheel with Competition Clutches custom clutch.

Forge Carbon Fibre engine cover.

Anthracite 17 inch VRS Spider wheels. (5th one painted in boot also)

Alpine aftermarket headunit.

Custom Skoda badges.

Black front grille.

SuperPro Polybushed dogbone mount.

Mk4 Golf Leather Recaro Interior

Full black interior spec – Headlining, grab handles, sun shades etc.

LED Lights: Interior, Boot, sidelights and number plate lights.

It also has the usual items fitted on the VRS:

Climatronic Air Conditioning

AUQ 1.8T Engine with KO3S turbo

ASR – effectively a version of ESP that brakes just the front wheels to stop slip.

3 Spoke sports leather steering wheel.

Boot spoiler

It also had some options fitted to the car:

Cruise Control

Rear Parking Sensors

Black Magic Pearl metallic paint.

As well as these I have a lot of the standard parts that I can include with the car as well as a 2.5inch downpipe with a decat that I will include if the asking price is met.

Price:  £2500 ono.

The car is based in Ilkley, West Yorkshire. However I could be in Halifax too for viewings if needs be.

My phone number is 07749 221 442.

I keep looking at this as I really miss my vRS.  Yours is exactly what I would want if I had a spare few quid down the back of the sofa.  I love my Rallye as my daily driver, but every now and then wish I had the Octavia for longer distances. Part of me wants to sell/swap the Pug for another vRS, but then I go for a blast and realise that what I really want is both.

I'm sure someone will have this off you at some point but it's a waiting game at the moment for most people.  Good luck with the sale and have a free bump on me. :D

Cheers buddy. :) It's what i've done, having your cake and eating it! Haha. I've got my Corrado and Mk2 GTI for toys and my Edition 30 Mk5 GTI as my sensible daily, even though its faster than both.

She just needs a new home as i don't have space for 5 cars in the household!  :giggle:  She will be missed though.

Sorry mate! Have been working solid. It's around the 220bhp mark. It shifts well and the torque is in the right places. But like I say it's nearly stage 2 ready so 250bhp isn't far off with the bits I mention.

If you want to get in touch with me to do with the car then please do call or text as I won't be able to reply to my threads or PM's for a week.
