Change of heart!?

Featured Replies

Right guys, i have had a change of heart, now i dont really want to sell my car but im looking for more power, so before i go ahead and get rid of it, i was thinking to see if getting more power out of my fabia vrs first.

Now, i know sort of where to start and what direction i was going in, but looking for tips, ideas and parts, anything of use to me would be great.

Now im going to get a darkside seatsport front mount intercooler. But from there im stuck in which was to go next, im guessing a nice set of brakes would go nicely.

So im looking for the following;-

- Motorsport wheels

- Big brakes

- Intercooler kit

- And whatever you guys thing i should need, obviously a map.

Looking for around 250bhp, give or take and a nice bit of torque, near 400ftlb?

Thanks in advance

It's advisable to have an uprated clutch and single mass flywheel to achieve those figures reliably.

If you want it all done it one go I would advise driving to jabbasport and get them to do it all in one go as I'm sure they do stage packages (1,2,3)

You can get away with 312s with ds2500 pads and you'll be fine.

Be prepared to spend a few £ tho.

Id get a new car imo

The vrs is that old nowadays you'll probably spend around the value of the car to get that bhp

It makes no financial sense, the saying is 'throwing good money after bad'
