Just done the pollen filter repair and cannot get the screen trim to mate properly. Is this a problem as there seems to be a 2-3mm gap between screen and trim ?

just done same job yesterday and it fits in a groove try cleaning up and try refitting by gently tapping into place with hand

Tap very carefully indeed - the screen overhangs the aperture and will break. Make sure the trim is absolutely clean where it meets the screen and use a lubricant. WD-40 will do at a pinch. Fit with moderate hand pressure only.
