Featured Replies

does anybody male a 3tb portable hard drive . takes power from computer & does not req a 240v power lead

I dont think there are any 2.5 inch 3TB HDD's yet, biggest is still 2TB. For larger you'll need desktop, mains powered external drives.

He did say 'portable' which is 2.5" USB powered and the 3.5" mains fed ones are known as 'desktop' in external drive terms.
