hi, i am new to the group so please be gentle :-) 
i have just got hold of a skoda pick up (1.9 d year 2000) when you switch the engine off there seems to be a bang so having looked at it, it seems the top gearbox mount is allowing the engine to move about far too much and on stopping the movement results in a bit of a bang.
i've looked online and am drawing a blank on it. perhaps its not called a gearbox top mount ? perhaps theres a website where i can get it all from that i dont know about ?
i would be grateful for any advice

Yes the gearbox mountings can still be purchased from skoda dealer, they are about £7 if I recall. It's quite tricky to change, you need to unbolt the gearbox end casing and then use a press to push the mounting in out.
