hi all.my names gareth and this is my first time on this site,im not that computer savvy so i hope ive done everything right.ive just recently bought myself a skoda fun and after getting it home discovered that the passenger carpet was getting soaking wet after rain.ive sealed the windscreen with proper sealent,but the rain is still coming in somewhere.can anybody tell me if this is a common fault on funs.my next step is inspection lamp under bonnet in dark garage to see if there are any holes,but any advice would be greatly received,aslong as its not scrap the car,cos i love it.Thanks,

Had something similar on a Seat. It was water running down the door window and into the door as the window rubber wasn't a good fit. The drain hole at the bottom of the door were blocked so the leaked into the car. Maybe worth a check.

Could be the door seals.

Thanks for the replys guys,but i dont think its door seals as its soaking high up in the passenger footwell,and a little water is coming through fuse box,not good i know.awesome site though glad i joined.

There is a drain on most cars....when it gets blocked it just leaks water into the passenger foot well.....maybe its that....Welcome
