been running my car at stage 2 now for 3yrs... what to do next?

more power? or some engine bay mods ie the black ripple paint effect ppl are using for rocker/cam covers and the inlets etc,? oil catch cans anyone got one any good or just for show? anyone got 1 of those double din dvd/satnavs any good?

oh yh my window mech has gone down. are they a pain to fit.. seen a replacement on ebay for 16quid

It kinda depends on your budget buddy to really answer the direction you wish to take.

 

Upping power from a stage 2 onwards is not cheap as you are looking really at bigger turbo's and mapping to deal with it.

 

Then you need to consider chassis and braking mods to support that extra power also. 

Engine bay clean up and mods are not expensive certainly compared  to increases in power and can be a gradual thing.

Oil Catch can is a good idea as keeps breather and oil system clean.

I have one of those double din Sat Nav's. They are ok but a bit out dated now and to get up to date maps will cost you as much if not more than a Tom Tom or other GPS system. And they are still commanding a high price to buy the unit also. They do not also allow full Post code input unless you get the real upto date one that was the last version on these cars. I still use mine though and is still accurate with 2010 maps most of the time. Also I like the fact that it lights up green with rest of the dash and center consul.

 

I just did a window mech for a friend and was not a difficult job really. Best to get full window mechanism and just swap over the window motor. There are instructions on the web for that

KO4 turbo upgrade. Get the whole kit for about 1k off flea bay and a stage 1 remap to suit new turbo.

Any more than that power in a front wheel drive will just chew through tyres.

Diff. Simples.

well standard diff only one Tyre will need replacing and with a LSD both will need it
