Changing service interval

Featured Replies

Hi,

I would be grateful if someone could clarify this for me. My Octavia was delivered with QG1 variable service interval but set to QC2 by the dealer when it was on a service plan. Can it be reset to QG1 again now at service?

I have seen conflicting information on the net but the service manual suggests it can.

Cheers,

Dave.

Yes you can swap between fixed and variable servicing as often as you like.

It will need a dealer or someone with VCDS to change it to variable servicing.

My car is on a service plan but ive kept it on variable mainly because i didnt want to lose the oil temp display; appreciate it can be reconfigured but didnt want the hassle.

Be interesting to see what happens soon as its due it 10k service in the next couple of months.
