I need to by a fuel filter for my Octavia and I am not sure what size I need. When I search EuroCarParts or CarParts4Less by the registration number I get filters with different dimensions, e.g:

 

1)

Diameter(mm): 83

Height [mm]: 143

Inner Diameter [mm]: 38

Outer Diameter [mm]: 83

 

2)

Diameter(mm): 78

Height [mm]: 135

Inner Diameter [mm]: 11,5

Outer Diameter [mm]: 78,5

 

3)

Diameter(mm): 84

Height [mm]: 118,5

Inner Diameter [mm]: 18,5

Outer Diameter [mm]: 83

 

4)

Diameter(mm): 84

Height [mm]: 118,5

Inner Diameter [mm]: 18,5

Outer Diameter [mm]: 83

 

I tried to find the spec in the official manual but without the luck.

 

It seems to be a bit random as to what size is fitted to a car, so you may need to check what is in the car, or buy more than one and then take the unused ones back

on my 2006 vrs derv euro car parts listed completely the wrong filter so I had to get a different one so i'd sugest not risking it and make sure you get the right one
