Finally picked up the New VRS TSi DSG estate yesterday (sorry didn't post but too busy playing with new toy)

 

First impressions: it's well put together, interior space is excellent, goes like hell and handles realy well. on sport mode it can feel a little hard but sounds wonderfull but normal mode is very good

Sunset Glass

 

we did order the dog guard but dealer called and said it needed 4 holes cutting in the head lining and did we want to proceed with it so we said no and cancelled the fitting

you got anymore pics from the back quarter? or even completly side on, im curious how dark the sunset glass is

 Our drive is quite steep so any car parked on it always sits a**e down  so its the drive not the car

 

the only full side on pic I have at moment is this one with my Mrs opening the rear door on the O/S. It is reasonably dark but it is not a limo tint by a long way and my Merc is a bit darker

thanks mate, how do the leather seats compare to the cloth ones?  seem much better quality? we are concerned the cloth will bobble so heading down leather route

Funny thing is I was at Jardine Skoda today in MK, debating exactly the same model, having recently sold my Yeti. Still deciding whether to go for the new face lift Yeti or sod it and get the Vrs.

 

The wife does not suspect a thing at the moment as the brochures are hidden. 

We had leather in the previous mk 2 Octavia Elegance and these do seem better quality, whilst not in the Mercedes leaque they are much better than my Superb ones

That's nice.

 

I like the sunset glass being lighter than dark. As someone has mentioned in a different post/ thread it's like wearing sunglasses. Just enough to stop the glare.

Dealt with Keith when I purchased the Yeti - old school...like me. Was not around today though.

Nice looking motor Kensym, was contemplating the candy white with the black pack, to be honest I can't make my mind up on the colour.

I purchesed the same but with manual with black pack and Bluetooth plus still waiting on build week ordered in August so exited still. Look good how long did you wait for it.

I ordered the leather seats without seeing but they look good here.

 

I'm still waiting for a build date and cannot wait after seeing this one.
