Morning all, I’ve got a 2018 L&K Superb and the Kessy on drivers door doesn’t work, I’ve scanned with a Carista OBD reader and my local VAG specialist has also scanned. Same results, open circuit. Kessy on passenger door and virtual pedal on tailgate works perfectly. On searching it appears it’s a well known fault amongst the VAG platforms, just wondering if anyone has an updated method of sorting it? I am considering just booking into dealer but that’s likely to cost an arm and leg. Thanks in Advance G

Gents, I’ve found this seat and I’m keen to purchase it, it’s apparently from a 2017 Audi S3, I’ve seen Audi S3 seats in caddy’s, Octavia’s before but unsure if the 2017 will fit my 12 plate Octavia, I understand the airbag wire will need to be modified but that isn’t an issue

As said it’s a 250k taxi so just looking for the cheapest fix for it, picking up a second hand seat seems like best option. However I’ll give TPS a call for price on seat foams

Guys, I’ve got a 2012 Octavia, 250k on the clock, it’s a taxi as the drivers seat is completely destroyed internally, has no comfort at all in it, look wise it’s still in good order with no rips, I could buy new foams but would like a more supportive seat and I’ve found one from a 2015 MK3 Octavia, question is will it bolt straight in? I understand the seatbelt plug may be slightly different but that’s not a big issue to deal with. Any ideas if Mk3 seats fit?

I service my cars every 10k, which is about every 6 weeks. My current Vw Caddy has 210k on it and it's running mint, it's just a little rough on the road, suspension isn't as tight as it obviously once was and it rattles like mad...... it's a taxi, I don't particularly care about it, but I'll still look after it and ensure it's serviced regularly.

As above, great condition with ever so slight wear on the drivers side from where my size 15's sit. Will show in picture but isn't bad. Pics tomorrow £40 collected from East Kilbride or Hillington

I contacted DTUK and they told me they would rather I had the software updated by Skoda first. Sourced a remap closer to home, still too slow, want a 190 lol G

I'm currently looking at a 190 DSG L&K Estate, just can't justify it at the moment, but booked in for a test drive so that may change my mind. Only had my superb since January but too slow G

For taxis I change oil & oil filter with genuine TPS parts every 10k, I've got a K&N panel filter that doesn't require being changed and I then do the fuel filter every 20k and pollen every 30k. Your mental if you run a taxi any longer than 10k G

Any car I buy I just do the belt regardless, my current superb had the belt done 5k prior to me buying it and it was redone before it went on the road as a taxi, it's a small price to pay for piece of mind that my mechanic has done it and any liability lies with him. G

The greenline is shockingly slow and doesn't have any power, I wouldn't recommend towing in it, especially a wobble box. Loaded 5 up with suitcases you'd be quicker walking. Get it mapped first G
