Rapid Coupe on the way?

Why does this forum keep eating parts of posts?

I added that it would make sense as it would surely not cost much to develop over the existing versions.

Perhaps Skoda are looking to ease pressure on the Octy being the sole big seller of the range.

Specially given that now its a lot bigger than the Rapid / Original MK1 Octy and close to VW prices, they think sales might drop off & the Rapid is its replacement for Star product.

As much as I would really like to replace my FL vRS with a MK3, its now too big to fit in my garage & the seagull poop damages paintwork.

The obvious replacement of a Rapid doesnt have 1.4 120bhp manual, or vRS model. - How to drive away long standing repeat customers.

Yeah, the price and the nice size of the Rapid was the main reason for us to choose this model. For a narrow car, it has an unbelievable inside space. I would like to see an TSI 1.4 120bhp with manual transmission:) in the Rapid.

i read about it today on a couple of forums.

most likely it will be a concept model (show off), just for the anniversary of 30 yrs of the name.

it will be interesting though!

pretty sure, they will try to get some feedback for the next gen of Rapid (try to make more versions of the car)
