Fabia 3 to look like S2000 Rally Car

Featured Replies

The S2000 in the picture is the current Fabia so I doubt it's going to look like this.

It'll be a lot squarer just like the new Octavia and Rapid at the front.

By being more sporty, they mean there's probably going to be a Monte Carlo spec just like VW have the R Line spec and Audi have the Sportline spec on most of their models.

I'm expecting the only thing the S2000 and the fabia 3 will have in common is that it comes in white, red and green (though not on 1 car) ;)

Any magazine article reporting something said by Skoda CEO Winifried Vahland needs taken with a pinch of salt.

There never seems to be the same line coming consistanly out of Skoda about the next Fabia, which platform or engine etc.

Probably will be wider, might be lower, might be longer wheelbase but no longer a car.

'Skoda Maybia' could work as a name.

The current name is 'Skoda Maybia'.  :D

It will have the looks of a Rapid... just smaller. Not sure what Vahland is talking about, he was probably high on Czech beer.

The Rapide Spaceback seems to be a good pointer as to what the MK3 Fabia could look like.

I quite like boring and functional, and hardly see the point of making them look sporting if there is no proper go.

I can not see the mk 3 as being much different from these images.

This look seems OK IMO.

he cant say "going to be more sporty" in one sentance, then "no vRS" in another ....
