we are driving to brindisi in italy  next year... 1300 miles one way.. looking forward to the drive too, staying over night half way  :)

was gonna say...montpellier isn't that far, easily doable...you wanna try doing puglia (southern italy) in a day....now thats no fun!

where you going to stop enroute JGS600?

Just collected the citigo... I think I forgot to mentioon that... am i mad in a citigo ;) I'm the only driver too, 2 up I reckon it would be cheaper than flying +more fun etc.

Although the spare boot space reasoning is shot to hell and back. Mind you the french do like making those 25cl bottles ;)

Really am tempted to drive it to be flexible, go and look at milau viaduct too. Guess I'll figure it out today.

If you do make it to Milau, as you approach coming down from the North there is a rest area just before the bridge where you can stop and walk right up to the side of the " bridge " and you can see the curve and the uphill rise of the roadway.

Well worth an hours stop.

As for going in a Citigo, the fastest cars in France always used to be base 1ltr Renaults and Citreons, that used to scream flat out down the motorways,

Have a good trip.
