Sadly the garage decided not to contact us to tell say when the car would be in, but tell us when it is actually there.

As you can probably imagine this is a little bit annoying as it takes 7 working days to withdraw the money from the account which takes us to next Thursday when we are going on holiday for a week.

So after waiting nearly 3 months we now have to wait another 2 weeks.

ANyone else have a similar annoying experience when picking their car up from the dealers?

That's pretty poor I'd say. Perhaps the dealer can offer to pay any early withdrawal fees you might incur by taking money out of that account...
