Just placed a new order for an Octavia vRS - TDi DSG and I have specced the following options...

Columbus

Bluetooth Plus

Spare Wheel

Park Assist

Winter Pack

Sunset Glass

Black Pack

Cruise

My questions are....

With the Bluetooth Plus system: Does this enable text messages to be displayed on the screen of the car? - Like my current (older style) Columbus unit?

The light assist, does this use the CH/LH lights in the same way the old Octavia did - as using the headlights? I have had mine changed to use the front fog lights rather than the headlights - can this be done with the new Octavia.

What tweaks are possible with VCDS (changing the coming/leaving home lights function from dipped headlights to front fog lights) is still unknown.

 

As the MkIII is still so new the menus in VCDS aren't yet released. You'll have to be patient and wait for Ross-Tech's next version release.

Yes you can. There's a "tourist mode" option in the car setup menu.
