I recently started swapping my interior for octy half leather and I came across a problem hoping you guys can answer

My vrs has a center seat belt but my donors didn't and the octys had 1 too. now I was planning on leaving the middle belt out and trimming over the holes but worried about mot time and also can't remove vrs seat back without either removing the plug and belt from the car together which means I need to source another (as they seem to be attached to each other) or cutting it what have you guys done was hoping to sell my interior on so don't wanna damage it

If I got another donor with the middle belt would it line up on the hole in the seats

You MAY be able to fit it on to your donors possibly? I'm not too sure how it's attached but all the seats are pretty much the same. As when I dismantled my front uprights, there was holes and gaps for the side lever for 3 door seats etc. Have a look and see if you could swap them over?

Failing that, I know pasty just removed the over shoulder belt and just had a lap belt in the middle. I doubt it would get used much /hardly anyway?

And it's just one (17mm) bolt to remove the rear upright. And the belt and clip are separate.
