4x4 CR DSG Elegance Yeti wanted.

Featured Replies

As title, if you know of a 4x4 CR DSG Elegance Yeti for sale please let me know. I can look at selling my vRS privately but ideally would like to trade it. Ideal colours are grey or white but I'll consider any except black.

Thanks in advance

I presume you've looked on the SUK Approved Used webpages?

Lookers Stockport have one in Shark Blue.

I keep looking myself, a few weeks ago there were Adventures on one of the discount sites with good savings as well. I like the present front end and hearty discounts but I only did 1500-1800 (yes that low) miles last year as I have a works van. Still the Sportage is 7 years old next summer so the company may enforce the 7 year old rule for my car allowance. So do I save 11-19% now or perhaps 5% next year. I might go 3 day week next year so more time for driving the car. I can pay cash so 0% finance not important though I'd lose free servicing with a discount dealer. So many imponderables is why I have not made a move. The garage a couple of hundred yards up the road from me is the new Skoda dealer so I see Yetis looking at me every day, mind you the IoW is not noted for discounts hence trip to North Yorks to get my last car.

I have had a couple of Berlingos which are great on the Island but in top spec still a bit basic. Still dithering...

Cheers, just a tad more than I can spend, should really have said a Max price which I'll now work out.

Don't want and can't afford new but thanks and good luck with whatever you decide, I'm a low mileage motorist myself having only covered just over 24k in 32 months in my vRS.

Thanks for that, I might enquire about it and hope that I get a response unlike the one that I enquired about in Warrington. Out of interest how are you finding the Freelander? They were high on my list until I was warned off by a number of people regarding their reliability.

Early Freelander 1's had a problem with the final drive ratios that caused a problem with SOME VCU's. They then altered the ratios and the problem decreased. Certainly the Td4 facelift model was a vast improvement. Both of mine did 100k miles with NO problems. Like most things you got to hear about the problem but not the thousands of happy customers.

The Freelander 2 is totally different and seems less troublesome, but like any vehicle, nothing can be perfect.

I am really enjoying it. I wanted a small 4x4 diesel automatic and the Freelander was the only vehicle in budget.

As with all old cars, mine is one of the last being a 2006 TD4 auto, which is now over 7 years old, will have things go wrong with it, which I expect.

Many problems were with the 1.8 k series petrol engine. The BMW TD4 engine is supposed to be bullet proof. Auto better for driving off-road. (And driving around town.

Thanks both, perhaps I'll stick them back on my radar as I too am after a diesel automatic and there's some great looking ones for sale quite local to me :)

Look at lots........

With a FL1 Auto, check that the auto fluid has been changed as per Service Schedule.
